What is your area of specialty?
My interests are in Hindi-Punjabi literature and developing teaching materials for Punjabi and Hindi languages. My Masters of Philosophy thesis was on the topic of Entertainment’s Folk songs of women in Punjab. My doctoral dissertation was a comparative study of two 17th century poets: Bulleh Shah and Bullae Sahib.

What are you proud of as a lecturer and in your community?
I am proud of developing a sense of community in my classes and learning from my students everyday and continuing to improve teaching. I am always grateful for the memories that we’ve given each other and what we’ve learned from one another. *Pinderjeet is a Golden Apple Award Winner
I am proud of being a role model in my community, helping in the community, and making a difference in someone’s life.
What might others not know about you?
I enjoy listening to traditional Punjabi folk songs.
