What is your area of specialty?

English Language Instruction; English for Academic Purposes; Literacy

What are you proud of as a lecturer?

I'm proud of the work I do with international students, prospective GSIs, and future English language teachers to make language and the academy more inclusive and accessible.

What might others not know about you?

I was a theatre major in undergrad and have performed in many plays. Also - outside my role as a lecturer - a former colleague and I developed a language teaching approach based on actor training (https://performingfluency.com/).
