Lecturer II

What is your area of specialty?

Climate and Oceanography.

What are you proud of as a lecturer?

I am very honored to have received the Collegiate Lecturer Award. In the last few years, I have been proud of the work I have done with CAI and the CRLT FCI, introducing new technology and pedagogical strategies in my classes and working to make them more inclusive and student-centered. I also enjoy teaching classes in the new CCCB building, where I now teach two classes ‘in the round’.

What might others not know about you?

In my free time, I take pottery classes (I am not good and I am happy with that—no stress) and I garden in spring/summer (this year I am growing a tomato jungle).
