What are you proud of as a lecturer?

As a lecturer at the University of Michigan-Flint, I'm proud of the teaching I do in the community. I enjoy the different schools and the different student cultures within them. Working in high schools around Flint keeps me grounded in the community and allows me to connect students to the University of Michigan.

What might others not know about you?

I'm a longtime deadhead.

What is something that you are proud of outside your role as a lecturer?

Outside of my role as a lecturer, I'm proud of coaching my youngest daughter's soccer team. We don't win every game, or any of them, but we have so much fun that no one seems to care!
